Joseph DeCoste is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Centre for Financial Studies at the University of New Brunswick. His research investigates financialization, index trading, and oil market dynamics. He teaches Financial Data Analysis and International Finance and oversees the university's Student Investment Fund.
He holds a PhD from the University of Alberta and is a CFA Charterholder. Current projects analyze comovement in equity indices and oil price sensitivity to futures demand.
