Josefina Cenzon is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Bocconi University since 2024. She holds a PhD in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University, with a research stay at Bocconi, and a BA in Economics from Torcuato Di Tella University. She is a UniCredit Foundation Fellow. Her research focuses on the intersection of macroeconomics, finance, and behavioral economics, particularly analyzing how personal experiences shape beliefs and influence macroeconomic outcomes through both theoretical and empirical methods.
Her current research investigates household financial decision-making, including mortgage choices and credit market expectations. She has presented work at institutions like Banque de France, ECB, HEC Paris, and multiple academic conferences. Teaching responsibilities include courses on financial markets and institutions (30006 and 30367).
Key publications explore inflation experiences' impact on mortgage preferences and the role of credit rejections in shaping macroeconomic forecasts. Her work highlights how individual experiences amplify financial risk perceptions and aggregate demand fluctuations.
