Jose Maria Caballero Lozano

Jose Maria Caballero Lozano is a Professor in the Department of Private Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Burgos, specializing in Civil Law with a focus on contractual obligations and business participation in societal activities.

Education:

• PhD in Law from University of Valladolid (1990) with thesis "La mora del acreedor" (Creditor Delay), supervised by Dr. José Luis de los Mozos de los Mozos.

His research centers on Civil Law intersections with business practices, particularly through the "SPONSOR Business Participation in Activities of General Interest" research group. This work examines legal frameworks enabling corporate engagement in socially beneficial initiatives, blending theoretical legal analysis with practical business applications.
