Jose Manuel Galan Ordax

Dr. José Manuel Galán Ordax serves as a Full Professor at Universidad de Burgos, holding position in the Escuela Politécnica Superior within the Department of Organization Engineering. He is affiliated with the GIO Organization Engineering research group and contributes to the PhD program in Industrial, Informatics, and Civil Engineering at UBU.

His academic journey began with an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de Valladolid in 2002. After graduation, he joined the INSISOC research group, working on the FIRMA project under the Fifth EU Framework Program and collaborating with the SEI Oxford Office. He later moved to Universidad de Burgos as an assistant lecturer, where he has held various academic positions since.

Dr. Galán Ordax specializes in computational modeling and simulation, with particular expertise in agent-based approaches. His research spans business management, project management, evolutionary game theory, and quality and predictive modeling in engineering contexts. He has evolved methodologically from analytical-simulation combinations to incorporating network theory and statistical learning techniques.
