Jose Luis Gonzalez Pernia

Jose Luis Gonzalez Pernia is an Associate Professor at Deusto Business School, part of the University of Deusto in San Sebastian, Spain. He holds a PhD in Business Competitiveness and Economic Development from the University of Deusto and a Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting from the Catholic University of Táchira, Venezuela. His teaching spans undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, focusing on business strategy, entrepreneurship, and quantitative analysis. He has also taught at CEIPA Business School and the School of Economic and Administrative Sciences of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia.

Research interests include entrepreneurship research methodologies, business competitiveness frameworks, and economic development strategies. His work bridges theoretical and practical aspects of strategy formulation and innovation in organizational contexts.

Office hours are held Monday to Wednesday from 16:00-17:00 at Altuna Bldg., 5th floor. Appointments outside these hours require prior scheduling.
