Jose Carlos Jaenes Sánchez

Jose Carlos Jaenes Sánchez is a Full Professor at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, affiliated with the Department of Social Anthropology, Basic Psychology and Public Health. His research focuses on Sports Psychology, particularly competitive anxiety in marathon runners and mental health impacts of social isolation on athletes during the COVID-19 pandemic. He leads the ESAR (Exercise, Health and High Performance) research group and collaborates internationally with institutions in Mexico, Chile, Poland, and the U.S.
