José Burillo

José Burillo is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, affiliated with the Department of Mathematics at the School of Mathematics and Statistics. He specializes in geometric group theory, focusing on the metric properties of finitely generated groups, particularly Thompson's groups and Houghton's groups. He is a core member of the BarCeloNa Group Theory research group.
