His research program integrates political ideology, collective nostalgia, and power-morality relationships. Publications reveal how framing climate policies to match epistemic needs reduces conservative opposition, while exploring trust communication in sanction removal and the psychological mechanisms behind voting behavior. Notably, his work demonstrates that correcting exponential growth misunderstandings during pandemics enhances compliance with social distancing.
Current projects focus on vertical communication, cultural pessimism, and status preferences in relationships. He serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology and collaborates with the European Association of Social Psychology. The Social Cognition Center under his leadership examines self-other integration, political rhetoric, and behavioral foundations of social power.
