Joris De Wortelaer

Joris De Wortelaer is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Public Law, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with a focus on legal frameworks and policy implications in sports and social law. His affiliations include the Public Law Teaching Unit and Public Law Education Unit.

His research spans Public Law, Sports Law, and Belgian Legal Systems, emphasizing topics like flexible employment, revenue law, and statute-based regulations. He has contributed to legislative analyses, such as the Act on the rights of semi-agoral sports instructors (2017), and co-authored editions of the Larcier Code of Law focusing on Social Law (2017-2020).
