Jorida Papakroni

Jorida Papakroni is an Associate Professor of Finance and Associate Chair of the Business, Organizations & Society program at Elizabethtown College. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from West Virginia University (2013) and a B.Sc. in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from the University of La Verne (2004).

Her research focuses on behavioral finance, analyst forecasting, and gender studies in economics. Key areas include investor sentiment analysis, the impact of political affiliations on managerial decisions, and the role of gender in consumer behavior. She has published in journals such as the International Journal of Financial Studies and Review of Financial Economics.

Papakroni teaches courses in quantitative methods, finance, security analysis, portfolio management, and behavioral finance. Her work bridges theoretical financial analysis with practical applications in corporate governance and market efficiency.
