Jorge Otero, MD, MS, RDMS is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He holds an MD from Universidad Javeriana School of Medicine (1991) and an MS in Public Administration from NYU Wagner School of Public Service (2004). His residency was completed at Hospital St Raphael-Yale School of Medicine (1998).
Dr. Otero's research focuses on optimizing healthcare delivery systems through innovative methods like tablet echocardiography and decentralization strategies. He leads a Global Health Initiative within Yale's Cardiovascular Section, emphasizing cardiovascular disease management in underserved regions.
