Jorge Oliveira

Prof. Jorge Oliveira is a Professor and Head of the School of Engineering and Architecture at University College Cork (UCC). His expertise spans Process & Chemical Engineering, with a focus on bioprocess modeling, food packaging design, and sustainable manufacturing. He has held academic roles since 1984, including Visiting Professor at UCC (1999–2002) and Senior Lecturer before becoming Professor. Currently leading the School since 2020, he also serves on the board of Ernesto Morgado SA in Portugal.
