Dr. Jorge Miranda-Pinto is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Economics within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Queensland. He is also a Research Associate at the ANU Centre for Applied Macroeconomic Analysis (CAMA) and an Affiliate of the Centre for Efficiency and Productivity Analysis. His research focuses on applied macroeconomics, international economics, and macroeconomic theory, with an emphasis on business cycle fluctuations, production networks, fiscal policy transmission, and sectoral shifts. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia (2017).
