Jorge Gallastegui Suarez

Jorge Gallastegui Suarez holds the position of Professor at the Department of Geology, University of Oviedo. His research is affiliated with the GEOTEC Geophysics and Tectonics group, focusing on Internal Geodynamics and related geological processes.

• Doctorate (PhD) in Geology from the University of Oviedo, with a thesis titled Estructura cortical de la cordillera y margen continental cantábricos perfiles esci-n 2000.

Research Interests include tectonic processes, crustal structure, and geophysical analysis of continental margins. His work primarily addresses the interplay between mountain ranges and coastal geological formations.
