Jorge Arredondo Chaves

Jorge Arredondo Chaves is a Consultant Lecturer at the University of Navarra, affiliated with the School of Medicine and the Department of General and Digestive Surgery. He is associated with the Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CUN) and the Cancer Center Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CCUN), where he contributes to clinical and research activities in surgical oncology. His academic work focuses on cancer treatment, particularly in advanced colon cancer.

• Thesis: Observational study of complications, tumor response, and survival in a neoadjuvant chemotherapy-based program for locally advanced colon cancer (University of Navarra, 2013).

Research interests include gene therapy applications in oncology, gastrointestinal surgery, and translational cancer research. He collaborates with the TGC Terapia Génica del Cáncer research group, integrating molecular approaches with clinical practice.
