Dr Jorge Agulló is a Junior Research Fellow in Ibero-Romance Linguistics at Queens' College, University of Cambridge, appointed from MT24 for three years. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics, specializing in Spanish and Catalan dialectology. Previously, he served as a member of the Teaching and Research Staff at the Department of Spanish Philology, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Research interests focus on Spanish dialectology, Catalan-Spanish language contact, and syntactic variation, particularly in relative clauses, resumptive pronouns, and existential constructions. His work bridges theoretical syntax with sociolinguistic stratification and historical evolution.
