Jorge A. Carrazana García

Jorge A. Carrazana García is a Professor in the Department of Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Santiago de Compostela. His research focuses on theoretical and computational chemistry, with affiliations to the QTEC group and the GI-1589 Supramolecular Chemistry and Physicochemistry of Colloids research group. He holds two doctorates: one from the University of Santiago de Compostela (1997) on magnetic paper physico-chemical properties, and another from the University of Extremadura (2017) on radionuclide determination via gamma spectrometry.

His research interests span theoretical and computational methodologies, supramolecular systems, colloidal physicochemistry, and materials science. His work bridges fundamental chemical principles with applied contexts such as material synthesis and analytical techniques.
