Jordy Rosenberg

Jordy Rosenberg is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literatures at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Faculty of Arts. They are currently on leave from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2025. Their teaching and research focus on transgender resistance, queer and Indigenous narratives, and critical approaches to literature.

Research Interests:

• Transgender writing and political solidarity
• Life narratives (memoirs, autobiographies, confessional poetry)
• Postcolonial and Indigenous literatures
• Narrative theory and form-content relationships
• Interdisciplinary analysis of gender, race, and colonialism
• Adaptations of fairy tales and Gothic literature
