Jordan Sellers

Jordan Sellers is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, serving as Associate Director of Rhetoric. Affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, his work bridges Romantic and Victorian literature with digital humanities. He holds a PhD from UIUC and has taught courses on literary periods, rhetoric, and student activism.

Research interests include 19th-century British literature, digital corpus development, and historical visual culture. Notable projects include the Illinois 19th-Century Corpus and Pulp Fiction Corpus. Awards include the 2023 English Department Undergraduate Teaching Award and 2014 Humanities Council Excellence Award.
