Jonna Myers

Jonna Myers, M.S., is an Instructor in the Department of Business & Computer Science at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU). She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Human Resources and Workforce Development from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville (anticipated completion: 2019). Her previous academic credentials include an M.S. in College Services Personnel from Arkansas Tech University and a B.A. in Communication Arts from SWOSU.

Her research interests focus on Hiring Practices, Effective Training, and Communication Patterns of Transformational Leaders, alongside Creativity. She specializes in Communication, Professionalism, and Soft Skills within Human Resources contexts. Professionally, she has experience in Career Services, New Student Orientation at SWOSU, and community roles at institutions like the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and OPUBCO Communications Group.

Jonna is actively involved in academic organizations such as the Southwest Academic of Management and the Southwestern Association for Business Communication. She serves as a Faculty Advisor for Phi Beta Lambda and a Faculty Sponsor for Love’s Cup Competition, reflecting her commitment to student engagement and community outreach.
