Jong Yeon Lee

Dr. Jong Yeon Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on Many-Body Physics of Information, bridging Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Information Science. He holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University (2020) and a B.S. from Caltech (2015), where he received the Richard P. Feynman Prize in Theoretical Physics. His work explores quantum many-body systems under decoherence, topological phases, and quantum criticality, with applications in quantum simulators and error correction.
