Jonette B. Owen is an Associate Professor in Audiology at Salus University's George S. Osborne College of Audiology, where she also serves as Associate Dean for Clinical Education and Assistant Dean for Practice and Assessment of Audiologic Medicine. Her clinical specialties include amplification, aural rehabilitation, and precepting.
Dr. Owen holds an AuD from Salus University (formerly the Pennsylvania College of Optometry), an MHA from The Pennsylvania State University, an MS in Audiology from Towson State University, and a BA in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Loyola College.
Her research focuses on clinical education methodologies, preceptorship practices, and interdisciplinary patient care models. Notable contributions include presentations on transitioning audiology students to professionals and improving cerumen management techniques.
Her awards include the AAA Academic Scholars Recognition (2015-2017) and a poster award for her work on clinical site evaluation. She actively participates in professional organizations like the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology and Academy of Doctors of Audiology.
