Jonathan Slapin is a Full Professor and Chair of Political Institutions and European Government at the University of Zürich’s Institute for Political Science (Institut für Politikwissenschaft), part of the Philosophische Fakultät. He specializes in comparative political institutions, European politics, legislative processes, and quantitative content analysis. His work appears in top journals like the American Political Science Review and has been recognized with major awards including the 2016 Richard Fenno Prize and Leon Epstein Outstanding Book Award for his co-authored book *The Politics of Parliamentary Debate*.
