Jonathan Padwe

Jonathan Padwe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, within the College of Social Sciences. His work bridges environmental anthropology, development studies, and social equity, focusing on social and environmental change in Southeast Asia and South America. He holds a PhD in Anthropology and Environmental Studies (Yale, 2011), an MESc in Environmental Studies (Yale, 2001), and a BA in English (University of Virginia, 1990).
