His research focuses on marginalization in children's literature, including authors, texts, and characters. He explores interdisciplinary intersections of literature, media, music, science, and theology. Key publications analyze Frankenstein, Tennyson's English Idyls, and Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, often addressing theological themes and textual anomalies. His work bridges literary theory with educational policy.
Articles and reports highlight his engagement with educational equity (Welsh Government collaborations), literary criticism (children’s literature marginalization), and theological interpretations in fantasy works. He has contributed to policy implementation for Seren and served in various academic roles at Swansea University, Gorseinon College, and Coleg Sir Gâr.
