Jonathan Nixon

Dr. Jonathan Nixon is a Senior Researcher and Associate Director for Research and Engagement at Coventry University's College of Engineering, Environment and Science. With a PhD from Aston University, his work focuses on renewable energy technologies including solar, wind, and bioenergy, particularly in humanitarian contexts such as refugee camps and cold climate environments. He leads the Innovate UK Energy Catalyst Project 'Solar Energy Transitions: Inclusive e-cooking in sub-Saharan Africa' and previously served as co-investigator on the EPSRC-funded Humanitarian Engineering and Energy for Displacement (HEED) project.
