Jonathan Michaels is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of History at the University of Connecticut (UConn), affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from UConn, following earlier studies at the University of California and a BA from UMass. His research focuses on American Communism and anticommunism, with particular attention to the political dynamics of the 20th century.
