Professor Jonathan Luke Heeney is the Head of the Laboratory of Viral Zoonotics at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on cross-species viral transmission, host-pathogen co-evolution, and immune mechanisms in disease-resistant species, with applications to veterinary and human health.
