Dr. Jonathan Kolieb is an Associate Professor at RMIT University's School of Law within the Graduate School of Business and Law. He serves as Co-Director of RMIT's Business and Human Rights Centre. His research focuses on international conflict resolution, business and human rights, and corporate accountability under international law. He holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and has held roles at institutions like the Australian Embassy in Washington DC and the United Nations. His teaching spans international law, peace and conflict studies, and corporate governance.
Dr. Kolieb’s academic contributions include over 45 publications across journals and books, with notable works on corporate accountability in conflict zones and children’s rights in business practices. He has received awards such as the RMIT College of Business Research Excellence Award (2016) and the Rotary World Peace Fellowship (2004–2006). His research projects address topics like blockchain in charity governance and corporate reporting standards for conflict-affected areas.
