Jonathan James serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics within the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic State University, specializing in empirical microeconomics with a focus on labor market dynamics and econometric methodologies.
He received his BA from UCLA in 2003 and PhD from Duke University in 2011, following which he spent two years as a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland prior to joining Cal Poly's faculty.
