Jonathan J. Nardi, Ph.D., is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), where he joined in 2023. He holds certifications as an ACSM-CEP (Clinical Exercise Physiologist), CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), and EIM3. Prior to USJ, he taught at Westfield State University (2022–2023) and Eastern Connecticut State University (2021–2022). Before academia, he worked for six years as a clinical exercise physiologist in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs in Massachusetts, focusing on patient education and secondary disease prevention through exercise.
Dr. Nardi’s education includes a Ph.D. from Concordia University–Chicago, an M.Ed. from Springfield College, and a B.S. from Springfield College. His research interests center on applying clinical exercise science to improve patient outcomes in chronic disease management. He is affiliated with the Exercise Science program at USJ, contributing to undergraduate and graduate health science initiatives.
