Jonathan Chu is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Academic Bar Exam Services (ABES) at the University of San Francisco (USF) School of Law. He also serves as a Program Director and is part of the full-time faculty. His expertise spans legal education, taxation law, and bar exam preparation, with over 16 years of experience tutoring and advising law students and attorneys. Previously, he held roles at Golden Gate University School of Law, including Director of Bar Exam Services and Director of Graduate Law Programs.

Research & Professional Background: Chu has practiced in real estate, taxation, business litigation, and sports/entertainment law. His career includes roles as a staff aide to Congressman Tom Lantos, liaison to U.S. Department of State/Defense, and work with the White House Advance Team under President Bill Clinton. He also clerked at the U.S. Department of Labor and Justice during law school.
