Jonathan Bedford is a post-doctoral clinical research fellow and consultant in intensive care medicine at the University of Oxford's Critical Care Research Group within the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences. He joined as an Academic Clinical Fellow in 2016 and completed his DPhil in 2024.
His research leverages large-scale health data and digital innovations to transform critical care practice, with specialized focus on:
- Prevention and management of arrhythmias in critically ill patients
- Adaptive clinical trial methodologies
- Wearable technology applications for hospital/home monitoring
