Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan R. Beatty serves as an Assistant Professor and Director of Operational Readiness Curriculum in the Family Nurse Practitioner and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the Uniformed Services University. A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the U.S. Air Force, he holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alaska Anchorage (2020), a Master of Science in Nursing from USU (2015), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida (2002).
His research examines telemedicine applications for chronic disease management and innovations in military emergency medical response systems. Beatty's operational roles include clinical practice across multiple continents and leadership in military healthcare delivery optimization.
