Jonathan Anderson is an Associate Professor of Composition and Theory in the Department of Music at Wayne State University. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, he holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition (2010) from the University of North Texas, a Master of Music in Composition (2000) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music (1998) from Luther College.

Anderson composes for traditional acoustic ensembles (orchestra, band, chamber groups) and experimental formats involving interactive computer music.
