معرفی
Jonas Holm is an Associate Professor at Linköping University, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Department of Health, Medicine and Care (HMV) and Department of Diagnostics and Specialist Medicine (DISP). His research focuses on improving diagnostics and treatment in cardiac surgery, particularly in severe heart failure and coronary artery bypass grafting, using biomarkers, metabolic interventions, and mechanical circulatory support. He also contributes to sleep medicine and respiratory research.
Education:
- Medical Doctorate, Linköping University (1997)
- Specialist in Thoracic Surgery (2006)
- Doctor of Medicine in Thoracic Surgery (2013)
Research Interests: Jonas investigates biomarker dynamics (e.g., copeptin, NT-proBNP) in cardiac surgery, evaluates coronary graft function via computed tomography, and explores metabolic support for heart failure. His recent work extends to obstructive sleep apnea in diabetes patients and early warning systems in COPD exacerbations.
Publications Trends: His work spans cardiovascular research, critical care, and sleep medicine, with a focus on biomarker validation, metabolic therapies, and multimodal outcome prediction in cardiac and respiratory contexts.
Organizational Involvement: Jonas collaborates with institutions including the Swedish Heart and Lung Foundation, NTNU (Norway), and Sun Yat-sen University (China). He participates in clinical trials like CoCAP, TACSI, and SweVAD.
