Jonas Feltes is a post-doctoral researcher at Ruhr University Bochum, specializing in the intersection of weapon technologies, terrorism, and collective moral responsibility in security contexts. He previously completed his PhD at TU Delft under Professor Seumas Miller, focusing on military/police institutions in liberal democracies and their relationship with global terrorism. His academic journey includes an MSc in History and Philosophy of Science from Utrecht University, where he examined explosive technologies' role in terrorism and transnational knowledge networks in technical expertise dissemination.
His research interests span security studies, history of technology, and applied ethics, with specific attention to:

- Space resource governance frameworks

- Historical evolution of WMD proliferation
