Jon Sensbach is a Professor of History at the University of Florida's Department of History. He specializes in early American history, Atlantic World studies, and the intersection of slavery and religion. He has held prestigious fellowships including an NEH Fellowship at the National Humanities Center and an NEH Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Omohundro Institute. His research spans topics such as Black Christianity in the Atlantic World, Afro-Moravian communities in North Carolina, and Caribbean history.
