Jon Malax is a Senior Lecturer in Conducting at Leeds Conservatoire since 2014, specializing in orchestral conducting and music direction. He holds a BA (Hons) in Music (Classical) and has taught courses such as Contextual Studies: Musical Direction. His career spans prestigious institutions in Spain and the UK, including roles as Music Director of the Basque Youth Orchestra (2016–present) and Solihull Symphony Orchestra (2013–present).
