Jon Corbett is an Instructor at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts and Technology. A Métis artist and programmer, his research merges Indigenous knowledge systems with computational practices.
Work includes developing acimow/Cree#, a programming language for nehiyaw (Plains Cree), and tools for syllabic text recognition. His practice explores kinship-computer interaction and decolonial digital methodologies.
