Jolie Wormwood is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Hampshire. With dual bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and psychology from Ithaca College (2007) and a doctorate in psychology from Northeastern University (2012), she combines quantitative rigor with psychological inquiry. Her research examines how affect and emotion guide perception, decision-making, and physiological responses, particularly in stressful contexts.

She has secured funding from the National Science Foundation, U.S. Army Research Institute, and Veterans Administration for projects on emotion reactivity, breast density awareness, and digital health initiatives.
