Johnny Heyes is a Senior Lecturer at the Royal Northern College of Music, specializing in Popular Music and Guitar Performance. He works as a Principal Guitar Tutor for Popular Music, training students in contemporary guitar techniques and session musician skills.
As a freelance session musician, Heyes has performed with artists including Tito Jackson, Mica Paris, Donny Osmond, and Gary Barlow. He is a long-term member of the BBC Jazz award-winning group BadBone & Co., led by Dennis Rollins MBE, with tours at WOMAD, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Glastonbury.
