معرفی
Johnny Deladoëy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal. He is affiliated with CHU Sainte-Justine, where he serves as head of the Molecular Endocrinology Laboratory. His research focuses on the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying congenital endocrine diseases, particularly hypothyroidism and hypopituitarism.
- Medical degree from Bern (1996)
- Ph.D. in molecular endocrinology from Bern (2001)
- Swiss Medical Board certifications in pediatrics (2006) and pediatric endocrinology (2008)
Deladoëy's work integrates genetic determinants of congenital hypothyroidism with advanced molecular biology techniques. His recent publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches combining genomics, epigenetics, and developmental biology to understand thyroid dysgenesis and other congenital endocrine disorders.
Scientific awards include:
- Swiss National Science Foundation MD-Ph.D. Scholarship
- John Bailey Prize (2006)
- Hoffman LaRoche Fellowship (2007)
- FRQS Research Scholar Award
- Charles Hollenberg Young Investigator Award
As a lab head, he supervises research initiatives linking clinical pediatric endocrinology with experimental molecular studies. His academic contributions include over 55 publications and 35 presentations, with a focus on translational research bridging basic science and clinical applications.
