Associate Professor John Triantafilis is an Honorary Associate Professor at the School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences, University of New South Wales (UNSW). His research focuses on digital soil mapping (DSM), integrating proximal sensing technologies like electromagnetic induction and gamma-ray spectrometry with mathematical models such as linear mixed models, wavelet analysis, and machine learning. He addresses challenges in soil and water management, natural resource interpretation, and precision agriculture.
