John Ruggles

John Ruggles serves as an Adjunct Professor at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D) within the Center for Creative Exploration. Based in Berks County, he is a nationally and internationally exhibiting visual artist, graphic designer, and documentary photographer whose work investigates identity and experience in transitional spaces.

Education:

• Master of Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology

His artistic practice centers on liminal spaces as conceptual frameworks, examining how thresholds between physical, social, and psychological states shape human identity. This manifests through interdisciplinary approaches spanning documentary photography, graphic design interventions, and site-specific visual installations that challenge conventional boundaries of perception.
