Dr. John P. Roberts is a Professor of Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, with over three decades of clinical and academic leadership in transplant surgery. Since joining UCSF in 1988, he has pioneered advancements in living donor liver transplantation, pediatric transplant surgery, and immunosuppression strategies. His research focuses on organ allocation equity, tumor biology in hepatocellular carcinoma, and innovative transplant procedures like the Rex shunt.
