John Nachbar

John Nachbar is a Professor of Economics and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Economics at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University. His research focuses on Economic Theory, particularly Game Theory, General Equilibrium Theory, and Microeconomics. He joined Washington University in 1990 after two years at the RAND Corporation.

Professor Nachbar has been honored with prestigious fellowships, including membership in the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory (2011-present) and the Econometric Society (2009-present). He also received the Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award (2007-2008). His publications explore topics like repeated games, comparative statics, and evolutionary dynamics.
