John Moore

John Moore is a Lecturer in the Department of Earth Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He specializes in differential geometry and geometric analysis, with a focus on minimal surfaces, Riemannian manifolds, and global analysis. His work bridges geometric topology, curvature analysis, and educational pedagogy, including contributions to inquiry-based learning (IBL) methods in mathematics education.
