John Melkon is an Assistant Professor at the United States Military Academy (West Point) and founder of the Center for the Study of Civil-Military Operations since 2012. He also serves as Extraordinary Professor of Practice at South Africa's North-West University, leveraging 25+ years of national security experience to advance civil-military coordination research and education.
