Dr. John Maule is an Assistant Professor in Psychology at the University of Sussex's School of Psychology, focusing on visual perception, color cognition, and developmental psychology. His research explores how environmental exposure, cultural context, and developmental stages influence color perception and aesthetic preferences. He leads studies on chromatic adaptation, natural scene statistics, and the interplay between visual systems and cognitive processes.
